gotly is a product of ModelCam Technologies LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, registered address 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware, USA. Which company you contract with depends on where you are billed:
Customers everywhere except India contract with ModelCam Technologies LLC. Payments are taken through Stripe in US dollars or euros, and Stripe calculates any sales tax or VAT that applies.
Customers in India contract with our Indian company, ModelCam Technologies Pvt Ltd, registered office 704 Kotibhaskar Business Court, Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra 411038. Payments are taken through PayU in Indian rupees, and we issue GST invoices.
In these terms, "gotly", "we", "us" and "our" mean the company you contract with. "You" means the person or organisation using gotly. If you use gotly for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Free accounts are treated as contracting with the company for the country you give at sign-up, or the country we detect when you first sign in.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, starting a trial, paying for a plan or using the API, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use gotly.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
An Enterprise contract signed with us takes priority over these terms where the two differ.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You sign in with an email link or with Google. Keep access to your email account and your Google account secure, because anyone who controls them can sign in to gotly as you.
Your links, domains, analytics, lead forms and link-in-bio pages live in a workspace. The person who creates a workspace is its owner. The owner is responsible for the workspace, for its plan and payments, and for everyone they invite into it.
You must give accurate details, including billing details, and keep them up to date. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. What gotly does
gotly lets you create short links on gotly.link or on your own domain, generate QR codes, see click analytics, collect leads through forms, publish link-in-bio pages and manage all of this through an API.
We keep improving gotly, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a feature that is a main part of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
5. Plans, trial and payment
Plans
We offer Free, Pro and Business plans, and Enterprise plans by separate contract. Pro and Business can be paid monthly or yearly. Current prices and what each plan includes are on our pricing page.
Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial. No card is needed. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan.
How payment works
Stripe (outside India): paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
PayU (India): each payment is a one-time payment for a fixed term. It does not renew automatically. We send you a reminder before the term ends so you can pay for the next one.
Prices exclude taxes unless the checkout page says otherwise. Any taxes that apply, such as US sales tax, VAT or GST in India, are shown at checkout and on your invoice.
Downgrades and expiry
If you downgrade, cancel, or let a paid term expire, your workspace moves to the Free plan. Your existing short links keep working, within Free plan limits. Features that are not part of the Free plan stop working, and anything above Free limits may become read-only or paused.
Each plan has limits, such as the number of links, custom domains, tracked clicks, lead form submissions, API calls and analytics history. The limits for each plan are listed on the pricing page.
When a workspace reaches a limit, we may pause the affected feature until the next period, or ask you to upgrade. Short links that already exist keep redirecting.
Where a plan says "unlimited", it is subject to fair use. Fair use means use that is normal for a single business of that plan size. If your use puts the service or other customers at risk, for example through automated bulk link creation or very heavy traffic, we will contact you first where we can, and may limit the activity or ask you to move to a suitable plan.
7. Your content and our licence to host it
"Your content" means the links and destination URLs, titles, tags, QR code designs, lead form wording, link-in-bio pages, images, logos and anything else you add to gotly. You keep ownership of your content.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, display and serve your content only as needed to run gotly for you, to keep it safe and secure, and to meet legal duties. This licence ends when your content is deleted from gotly, apart from copies kept in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.
You confirm you have the rights to the content you add, and that your content and destinations follow the law and our Acceptable Use Policy.
We do not sell your content and we do not show ads on your links.
8. Lead forms and visitor data
Lead forms let you collect a visitor's name, mobile number and email. For these leads, you are the data controller (under GDPR) or data fiduciary (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). We act as your processor and handle leads only on your instructions, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for:
having a lawful reason to collect each lead and to contact them;
writing a clear notice on the form that says who you are, why you collect the data and how people can reach you;
only sending marketing messages to people who agreed to receive them, where the law requires consent;
answering requests from people whose data you collected, such as access, correction or deletion requests.
The form shows your notice and an optional marketing consent box, and we record exactly what was shown to each visitor. A data processing agreement is available on request at [email protected].
9. Custom domains
You may connect a domain you own or control. You are responsible for the domain, its registration and its DNS settings. If a domain stops pointing to gotly, or its registration lapses, links on it will stop working.
We may refuse or remove a custom domain that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy or imitates another brand.
10. API terms
If your plan includes API access, you may use the gotly API to create and manage links and read your own data. When you use the API:
Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your keys. Revoke a key straight away if it may have leaked.
Stay within the rate limits and plan limits. We may slow down or block requests that exceed them.
Do not use the API to get around plan limits, our safety checks or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Do not resell raw API access, or build a product that mainly copies gotly, without a written agreement with us.
If you build an app on the API for other people, you are responsible for that app, its users and its own terms and privacy notice.
We may change the API. We will try to give reasonable notice before removing or breaking an existing endpoint, except where a change is needed for security or legal reasons.
11. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. It bans phishing, malware, scams, spam, illegal content and other misuse, and explains how we check links and handle reports. Breaking it can lead to links being blocked or a workspace being suspended without notice.
12. Our property
gotly, its software, design, logos and the gotly name belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use gotly while your account is active. They do not give you any other rights in gotly.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
13. Availability and support
We work hard to keep gotly and your short links running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or fast. Planned maintenance, outages at our providers, or events outside our control can interrupt the service.
There is no service level agreement (SLA) on Free, Pro or Business plans. An SLA applies only where it is written into a signed Enterprise contract.
your use creates a security, legal or abuse risk for us, for visitors or for other customers;
a payment fails and is not fixed after we tell you;
a court, regulator or law enforcement body requires it.
We may also stop offering gotly altogether. If we do, we will give paid customers at least 30 days' notice and a fair chance to export their data, and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.
When an account closes, its short links stop working. Sections of these terms that by their nature should continue (for example, ownership, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability and governing law) continue after the account closes.
15. Data export and deletion
On plans that include export, you can download your links, click analytics and leads as CSV files from the app at any time.
If you are on the Free plan, or your account is closing, you can ask us for an export at [email protected]. We will provide it if the request reaches us within 30 days of closure, unless the account was closed for abuse or the law stops us.
After that, we delete workspace data as described in our Privacy Policy. Copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle.
16. Warranty disclaimer
gotly is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written in these terms. In particular, we do not promise that gotly will meet every need you have, that it will be uninterrupted, or that our safety checks will catch every harmful link.
Some laws do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. Where that is the case, those warranties apply only to the minimum extent the law requires.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, even if we were told they might happen;
our total liability for all claims connected with gotly in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for gotly in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim. For Free accounts, it is limited to US$100 (or ₹5,000 for customers in India).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Your responsibility for claims
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your destinations, the leads you collect, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in handling it.
19. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved by email.

If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the laws of your home country give you, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as gotly or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app before they take effect.
If you keep using gotly after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel and stop using gotly, and our Refund Policy will apply.
21. General
If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a company in our group, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Neither side is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
These terms, together with the policies linked above and any Enterprise contract, are the whole agreement between you and us about gotly.
