Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. Why this policy exists

People tap short links and scan QR codes because they trust where they lead. This policy keeps that trust. It applies to everything in a gotly workspace: short links and their destinations, custom domains, QR codes, lead forms, link-in-bio pages and API use. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. What is not allowed

You must not use gotly to create, send people to, or support:

3. Lead forms

Lead forms are for collecting a name, mobile number and email from people who want to hear from you. When you use them:

4. How we check links

Every link is checked before it goes live. We check destination URLs against threat feeds that list known phishing, malware and scam sites, and we check them again from time to time after they go live, because a safe page can turn harmful later.

No check is perfect. A link that passes our checks is not approved or endorsed by us, and you remain responsible for where your links lead.

5. What we do when something breaks this policy

To protect visitors, we may act without notice, including to:

If you think we made a mistake, write to [email protected] and we will review it.

Accounts closed for breaking this policy are not refunded. See our Refund Policy.

6. Reporting abuse

If you see a gotly link that leads somewhere harmful, please tell us on our public report page. You do not need an account. We review every report.

7. Copyright and trademark complaints

If you believe content linked through gotly infringes your copyright or trademark, email [email protected] with:

We remove the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as new kinds of abuse appear or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
